These were amazingly hearty Callas. My bride, Cathy, mailed them to me after her wedding but forgot to send them overnight express. They were in the mail for a week and still beautiful. I even had some left in a vase for another week. These photos are a good example of how the color changes on certain flowers when they a dry pressed.
This is a quick layout of the dried eggplant callas from Cathy's bouquet.
The color scheme for the wedding was diamonds, sparkle, silver and deep purple. Cathy was thinking those colors with accents of gray would be pretty in her CurlyArt painting. Also, her wedding flower jewelry will be included in the painting.It will be fun to see the end result for Cathy's wedding flower painting! She just needs to decide whether the painting will be horizontal or vertical.
