Amber's Laundry Room

One of the projects while visiting my niece, Amber, was to paint her laundry room. She thought it would be nice to add a couple of blue birds to distract from the outlets. Now she has a little bit of sunshine when she walks into the room.

A Special Memorial For Amber - Home Sweet Home

My niece, Amber, just bought a new home and she wanted something special to hang on one wall. I took an old window and painted it robin's egg blue then pressed and dried some of my mother's garden flowers to add. My mother passed away last November. She loved hummingbirds and butterflies not to mention puttering in her gardens. I am so excited to give this to her!

Ashley & Brian's Shades of Purple

This 14 x 18 painting was a gift from Brian's mother and myself for a lovely keepsake of their wedding.
The different shades of purple roses, lilies and lysianthus are set off with a few white roses. These flowers press very nicely and look wonderful in a painting.
Here is Ashley's wedding bouquet. This will give you an idea of how the color of the flowers change after being pressed.

Bernadette's Paris Themed Wedding

The bride had a Paris themed wedding so her best friend is going to surprise her with this wedding bouquet painting. It is done on a 12 x 16 canvas. I did the background and Eiffel Tower theme image first then applied the wedding flowers over it. The bride had a beautiful rose colored rosary wrapped around her flowers so I added three little studs in the center of three flowers in the same color.
