Kristy & Tim, June 10, 2012

Crystals from the handle of the bouquet along with a verse said at their wedding:
18 x 24 canvas

My beloved spoke and said to me, "Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, come with me.  See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone.  Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.  Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.” Song of Solomon 2:10-13

Kimberly & Jason, July 7, 2012

Kimberly spoke to me early in her wedding plans and asked if she could send me some flowers from her personal garden as well as her wedding bouquet. I thought this was a great idea and keepsake for her wedding day. She had a Cape Cod themed wedding which turned out beautifully with the colors of her flowers. This is a 18 x 24 canvas.
Besides ordering a painting for her and her husband she had me make one with their invitation for her parents to keep. This is a 12 x 12.

Amber's Laundry Room

One of the projects while visiting my niece, Amber, was to paint her laundry room. She thought it would be nice to add a couple of blue birds to distract from the outlets. Now she has a little bit of sunshine when she walks into the room.

A Special Memorial For Amber - Home Sweet Home

My niece, Amber, just bought a new home and she wanted something special to hang on one wall. I took an old window and painted it robin's egg blue then pressed and dried some of my mother's garden flowers to add. My mother passed away last November. She loved hummingbirds and butterflies not to mention puttering in her gardens. I am so excited to give this to her!

Ashley & Brian's Shades of Purple

This 14 x 18 painting was a gift from Brian's mother and myself for a lovely keepsake of their wedding.
The different shades of purple roses, lilies and lysianthus are set off with a few white roses. These flowers press very nicely and look wonderful in a painting.
Here is Ashley's wedding bouquet. This will give you an idea of how the color of the flowers change after being pressed.

Bernadette's Paris Themed Wedding

The bride had a Paris themed wedding so her best friend is going to surprise her with this wedding bouquet painting. It is done on a 12 x 16 canvas. I did the background and Eiffel Tower theme image first then applied the wedding flowers over it. The bride had a beautiful rose colored rosary wrapped around her flowers so I added three little studs in the center of three flowers in the same color.

Nicole's 16 x 20 Preserved Wedding Flower Painting

The oranges and golds complement the blues and purples in this 16 x 20 painting, a popular size.

Sarah & Nils, September 10, 2011

Callas, roses, stocks and hydrangeas make up this 16 x 20 painting. The shades of purple to pink in the flowers are a nice contrast with the lighter callas. The swirling stems and vines give it a floating feeling.

Stephanie's Autumn Colored Bouquet Painting

This is a 16 x 20 with a lovely combination of fall colored flowers.

Hank & Tina-Joy's Foursome

Teapots, teacups and penny farthings was the theme of this wedding and the bride and groom wanted it reflected in their paintings. I also added some of the ribbon in the form of leaves.

Whitney & Bill's August 2011 Wedding

Whitney and Bill requested to have the design in their wedding invitation reflected in their wedding flower painting. It was such a beautiful design and truly complimented the gorgeous flowers and colors in the bouquet which consisted of purple callas, orchids, green hydrangeas, white and purple roses with green ferns and leaves.
