The chargers and centerpieces had a beautiful antique golden look which I used in the green leaves and background of the preserved wedding flower paintings. This is a sample of the Burgues Script, the font used in the seating chart which you can see in the detail of the stems and vines. Six 10 x 10 paintings were ordered. Two of them will go to the parents of the bride and groom as a thank you gift. Holly's bouquet was white peonies and blush and pale peach roses. She looked like such a beautiful China Doll that I wanted a very subtle background for the soft roses. Holly liked the Burgues Script in their seating chart and requested that being reflected in the paintings.
I am an artist located in Central California, but preserve wedding flowers for brides all over the US. I specialize in the preservation of wedding flowers on canvas transforming them into a beautiful painting. My portfolio does include many other styles of artwork in various mediums, which I will also be sharing here.
