Recreating A Wedding Bouquet Painting For Kristen

Kristen discovered my blog with my preserved wedding flower paintings long after she was married. I told her that I could recreate her bouquet by buying them myself and then set them in to press. She gave me a list of all the flowers that were in her wedding, then when I went to the flower mart we worked on matching the colors and size of the flowers via cell phone.
I then sent her photos of the flowers I purchased to make sure she was satisfied with the colors and began pressing them. Once they were ready to take out of press I worked with her on what background color(s) she wanted and which style of painting she liked best.
Kristen chose a 16 x 20 horizontal canvas which flowed nicely with her flowers.
The actual colors of the flowers usually change once pressed, but purples are still very lovely after pressing.

  1. Your artwork is beautiful! You truly preserved the beauty of those flowers in canvas. And you worked on matching the colors via cellphone too. Your talent for this is exceptional! I’d love to see more of your work in the future. Have a great day!
